Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Sixty Vines. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for managing kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, and collaborating with restaurant managers to oversee all aspects of food and beverage service.

Responsibilities
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, purchasing, and receiving.
  • Maintain the highest level of food quality while minimizing waste.
  • Manage employee schedules and provide support throughout the shift.
  • Train and develop hourly personnel to ensure excellent service standards.
  • Collaborate with restaurant managers to oversee all aspects of food and beverage service.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of kitchen experience in a similar role.
  • A degree in Culinary Arts is not required but is a plus.
  • Experience in leading and supervising hourly team members.
  • Experience working within budget parameters.
  • Knowledge of scheduling and restaurant software programs.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and best practices.
