Your Role:

The Restaurant Quality Assurance Evaluator (RQAE) plays a crucial role in conducting thorough on-site assessments to ensure that our restaurants uphold the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, customer service, and brand integrity. The RQAE is tasked with effectively communicating the results of these evaluations to various stakeholders within the organization.

Work Environment:

This position involves working in a dynamic kitchen setting, which requires physical stamina for extended periods of walking, standing, lifting, and bending. The role also entails interacting with customers and working in diverse temperature conditions, handling food products, allergens, industrial equipment, and commercial cleaning supplies, while adhering to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and measure performance against a comprehensive set of standards consistently and effectively.
  • Conduct multiple evaluations across various locations for tests, pilots, or data collection.
  • Support adjustments to systems and programs that monitor performance.
  • Deliver detailed results with supporting documentation and visuals to empower restaurant operators.
  • Organize and manage a quarterly schedule of assessments to ensure compliance with timeliness and guidelines.
  • Oversee travel and expenses in accordance with company policies.
  • Provide insights on programs and systems for operational excellence.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in food safety and Raising Cane's specific standards.

Qualifications for Success:

  • In-depth knowledge of restaurant standards and industry-wide safety and sanitation practices.
  • Demonstrate brand standards while conducting assessments across the organization.
  • Align with organizational values in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple shifting priorities.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and energetic with strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficient in problem recognition, goal setting, planning, and execution.
  • Skilled in various technology systems, including Microsoft Office Suite, with a quick learning ability for new systems.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends, and travel as required.
  • Ability to travel 50-75% of the time.
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership or quality assurance experience in the restaurant industry, or 2 years as an Assistant Restaurant Leader at Raising Cane's, with a proven performance record.
  • A college degree is preferred.
  • Additional certifications in food safety or quality assurance (HACCP, SQF, etc.) are recommended.

Base salary ranges from $75,000 to $85,000 annually, plus incentives.

This position includes an auto allowance, communication allowance, and eligibility for a performance bonus.

The total compensation package may encompass additional elements, including performance bonuses and discretionary awards, alongside a comprehensive range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
