Position Overview

The role of the Financial Analyst for Inventory Management is crucial in ensuring that all inventory transactions are executed with precision and efficiency across various warehouse locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to monitor and manage inventory movements.
  • Engage in monthly closing activities, reporting, and support for both internal and external audits.
  • Perform comprehensive inventory accounting tasks, including EDI, reconciliations, and transaction entries.
  • Conduct monthly reporting and play a significant role in the month-end closing process, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Provide training and support to team members, ensuring knowledge transfer and backup capabilities.
  • Deliver ad hoc inventory analyses as needed and travel to various locations for inventory audits.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory accounting or warehouse operations.
  • Associate's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with a solid understanding of general business principles.
  • Ability to analyze data and convert it into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Familiarity with generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Capacity to navigate a dynamic business environment with adaptability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access).
  • Experience with SAP and ASI software tools is preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A valid driver's license that meets company standards.
