Accounts Payable Clerk Job Description

At Apollo Mechanical Contractors, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Transaction Processing: Verify and complete payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Document Management: Gather, sort, and maintain financial documents and related information.
  • Reconciliation and Resolution: Reconcile monthly statements, request missing documentation, and resolve account discrepancies.
  • Financial Security: Maintain financial security by following internal accounting controls.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain financial historical records by filing accounting documents.
Requirements:
  • Administrative Writing Skills: Effective written communication skills to prepare and maintain financial documents.
  • Organization and Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Data Entry Skills: Proficient in data entry and financial software experience.
  • Math Skills: Basic math skills to perform financial calculations.
  • Communication Skills: Good verbal communication skills to collaborate with team members.
