General Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Engineering professional to provide support for the sales of XeteX's custom air handling solutions. This role involves collaborating with our Independent Sales Representatives to deliver engineering designs, quotations, and project management assistance for all assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with clients to understand their requirements and develop a tailored plan for custom HVAC units that meet and exceed project specifications.
  • Utilize various selection software tools to choose and size components that ensure optimal performance of the units.
  • Employ AutoCAD to produce detailed technical drawings for customer review.
  • Examine mechanical plans and specifications to comply with industry and regional standards, both nationally and internationally.
  • Draft construction specifications, scope of supply documents, and exceptions reports.
  • Prepare comprehensive cost estimates and performance projections to facilitate accurate equipment design quotations.
  • Evaluate new vendor product offerings and assist in their integration into XeteX designs as necessary.
  • Collaborate with vendors to stay informed about emerging technologies and their design implications for XeteX products.
  • Provide support for design engineering tools as required.
  • Represent XeteX at industry conventions, representative events, and occasional client visits.
  • Enjoy the flexibility of remote work once fully onboarded.
Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, or relevant HVAC equipment experience.
  • 5-10 years of pertinent work experience is required.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks or other CAD software is essential.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • High analytical ability is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products is required.
  • Willingness to travel independently, with infrequent travel of less than 10%.
