Primary Duties:

  • Facilitate the accurate reporting of public works jobs to the payroll department
  • Verify and reconcile job tickets received from the field
  • Communicate work hours to the payroll team
  • Collect and submit necessary documentation for each project on a daily basis
  • Initiate new job setups and communicate them to the payroll team
  • Monitor and retrieve outstanding timecards and job tickets from the field
  • Assist with internal audits, participate in weekly meetings, and investigate discrepancies
  • Manage correspondence from various stakeholders, directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel
  • Ensure accuracy in ticket time reconciliation
  • Adjust driver schedules and times as necessary in the timekeeping system
  • Act as a backup for timekeeping and the submission of payroll
  • Conduct compliance audits to adhere to applicable regulations
  • Engage in data analysis and discrepancy resolution

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in an administrative capacity
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Familiarity with workforce management systems is a plus

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in computer operations and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
