Job Summary

ChristianaCare is seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team in Wilmington, Delaware. As a key member of our diagnostic team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic echocardiograms and assisting physicians in the diagnosis of cardiac disease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform 2D, M-Mode, CW, PW, and Color Flow Doppler echocardiograms
  • Perform stress echocardiograms
  • Perform IV starts for Dobutamine stress testing
  • Accurately present completed echocardiograms to physicians
  • Demonstrate ability to recognize normal and abnormal echocardiograms
Requirements
  • Associates Degree
  • Certification from ARDMS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, RDCS) or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (Registered Cardiovascular Technologist, RCVT)
  • CPR certification
  • IV experience with saline contrast
  • Experience in stress echo, dobutamine stress echo and adult echo
