Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Novant Health. As a Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic echocardiography and/or vascular ultrasound procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic echocardiography and/or vascular ultrasound procedures
  • Assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients
  • Work under the supervision of the Manager of Noninvasive Cardiac Services and lead Ultrasound tech
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED, required
  • Associate Degree, preferred
  • One to two years of relevant experience, preferred
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Vascular Sonographer, and/or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or Certified Cardiac and/or Vascular Sonographer through the Cardiovascular Credentialing International, required
  • BLS Certification, required
Working Conditions

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. The successful candidate must be able to work effectively in a team environment and provide excellent patient care.
