Job Title: Cardiac Sonographer

ChristianaCare is seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team in Wilmington, Delaware.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Cardiac Sonographer to perform diagnostic echocardiograms and assist physicians in the diagnosis of cardiac disease.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform 2D, M-Mode, CW, PW, and Color Flow Doppler echocardiograms.
  • Conduct stress echocardiograms and IV starts for Dobutamine stress testing.
  • Accurately present completed echocardiograms to physicians and demonstrate knowledge in operation of Ascend porting.
  • Rotate to all Cardiac Diagnostic Centers at the manager's discretion.
  • Perform assigned work safely, adhering to established departmental safety rules and practices.

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree in a related field.
  • Certification from ARDMS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, RDCS) or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (Registered Cardiovascular Technologist, RCVT).
  • CPR certification and IV experience with saline contrast.
  • Experience in stress echo, dobutamine stress echo, and adult echo.
