Job Summary

As an LPN Ambulatory Nurse with University Hospitals Health System, you will provide safe and efficient age-specific nursing care to patients and their families using the nursing process to assist them in achieving optimal health status.

Key Responsibilities

  • Function in accordance with the professional standards of the Ohio Board of Nursing.
  • Complete and submit required documentation.
  • Deliver effective relationship-based nursing care.
  • Demonstrate technical skills in care delivery that result in safe practice and positive care outcomes.
  • Demonstrate clear communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinical operations.
  • Develop self and contribute to the professional practice of nursing.
  • Display leadership that influences optimal clinical and operational outcomes.

Additional Requirements

Perform other duties as assigned and comply with all policies and standards. For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation. Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.

Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct, and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
