Job Summary

The Department of Housing & Community Development is seeking a highly skilled Staff Services Analyst to join our team in the El Cajon District Office. As a Staff Services Analyst, you will be responsible for providing full-service support to the public, business customers, and industry for mobilehome titling and registration, as well as other related functions administered by the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to the public, business customers, and industry, ensuring timely and accurate processing of mobilehome titling and registration requests.
  • Interpret complex statutes, regulations, and procedures to provide simple instructions to the public, ensuring compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
  • Assist dissatisfied customers, resolving situations in a professional and courteous manner, and escalating issues to supervisors as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless processing of mobilehome titling and registration requests.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in laws, regulations, and procedures, ensuring compliance and accuracy in processing mobilehome titling and registration requests.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in a government agency or related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and provide clear instructions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
