Role Responsibilities & Qualifications
About the Team:
The Value Stream Acceleration Services team, part of the Engineering, Product, Innovation, and Cloud (EPIC) organization, is dedicated to managing a portfolio of value streams that contribute to an enterprise SaaS product, aiming to enhance the delivery of value to our clients.
This team consists of highly skilled professionals with expertise in various domains, working together to ensure that value streams are optimized for maximum impact.
We are looking for a proactive Senior Technical Program Manager to join our ranks.
In this capacity, you will be instrumental in coordinating and executing complex programs that align with the strategic goals of the organization.
Utilizing your outstanding communication skills, technical knowledge, and leadership qualities, you will guide cross-functional teams in the successful delivery of large-scale projects, ensuring timely product launches while aligning with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspire and lead cross-functional teams through effective communication and negotiation, collaborating with executives and stakeholders to achieve consensus on objectives, scope, and deliverables while advocating for the organization’s best interests.
- Ensure program management excellence by overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of intricate programs, managing cross-functional teams, and maintaining adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement while championing best practices in program management.
- Exhibit exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and dependencies, effectively identifying and mitigating risks.
- Coordinate resource allocation across programs to optimize resource utilization and deliver maximum value.
- Utilize strong problem-solving abilities to identify and address critical issues, implementing innovative solutions through your influence and expertise.
- Contribute to process enhancement by leading retrospectives and ensuring the implementation of identified actions while incorporating industry best practices.
- Leverage data and metrics to drive data-informed decisions that enhance operational effectiveness while ensuring data integrity.
About You:
Basic Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager or in a similar capacity, with a proven track record of delivering complex software projects in a SaaS environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including SAFe, Scrum, LPM, and DevOps.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of translating complex technical challenges into actionable strategies.
- Able to thrive in a hybrid work environment, requiring in-office presence three or more days per week.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Familiarity with Ultimate Software Product Suites, Tax Services, Service Products, or core Payment Solutions.
- Ability to adopt a customer-centric perspective to represent customer needs effectively.
- Creative thinker and results-oriented problem solver, eager to tackle challenging issues and committed to delivering tangible business results.
- Embrace a continuous learning mindset, including the capacity to ask relevant questions to grasp requirements and context, as well as the ability to accept and integrate feedback.
- Experience with tools such as Aha, JIRA, Confluence, and PowerBI.
Preferred Certifications:
PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, LPM
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and foster positive working relationships.
- Detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Enthusiastic about learning and open to new challenges in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
