Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:
  • Algorithm Development:
    • Design, implement, and optimize high-reliability GNC algorithms using C++ or Python.
    • Participate in architecture reviews to ensure software solutions meet quality standards.
    • Analyze performance metrics from various elements of the satellite constellation and network.
  • System Integration and Support:
    • Support on-call operations rotation, commanding satellites, and reviewing network data.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance GNC system performance.
  • Optimization and Analysis:
    • Perform constellation design and optimization, fleet management, and collision avoidance.
    • Conduct analysis of existing and proposed satellite systems.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • Experience in developing, debugging, and deploying GNC software.
  • In-depth understanding of orbital mechanics, including low thrust trajectory optimization.
  • Proficiency in software development with C++ or Python.
