Job Title: Inside Sales Representative

At ACO, Inc., we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our team. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in identifying, qualifying, and following up on leads for projects within a specific territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Provide customer support through knowledge of ACO products and their applications.
  • Respond to inbound sales calls and confirm, configure, set, and use drawing scales to complete the Take-Off process.
  • Maintain effective internal and external communication with customers, ACO management, and company sales representatives.
  • Prepare and send submittal packages to ACO Distributors or Direct Buy customers after receiving Purchase Orders.
  • Research various lead sources for ACO product opportunities and identify Architectural/Engineering firms for specific projects.
  • Collaborate with the Area Sales Manager/National Sales Manager to determine follow-up actions for projects and work with the Technical Services team to obtain product layouts and Bill of Materials.
  • Prepare and send quotations to contractors and price confirmations to distributors as needed.
  • Maintain the ACO Sales Management System (CRM) with accurate data and relevant information.
  • Follow up with project participants to ascertain contract awards and obtain relevant contact details for the Area Sales Manager/National Sales Manager.
  • Request and receive Purchase Orders from customers and organize order documents for further processing.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of inside sales experience, preferably in construction, commercial, retail, or related industries.
  • 1-year business or related certificate from college or technical school preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Access, Excel) and file management.
  • Excellent punctuation, grammar, and spelling.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret simple construction drawings.
  • Ability to write professional correspondence and speak effectively before groups.
  • Basic math skills, including the ability to compute percentages and perform calculations in various units of measure.
