Job Summary

The Accounts Payable and Payroll Specialist will oversee the AP and Payroll Systems, manage AP transactions, reconcile accounts, and ensure clear communication with staff, customers, and external parties. This position will also support financial reporting for the Accounting Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee AP/Payroll System
  • Act as a liaison between staff and payroll/benefits provider
  • Maintain vendor information and supporting documents
  • Process residential and commercial real estate closing transactions as needed
  • Assist with annual 1099s and franchise audit documentation
  • Process franchise payments and referral payments
  • Resolve bank reconciliation issues
  • Facilitate the hiring process
  • Cross-train to support other accounting functions
Requirements
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Familiarity with real estate software, Microsoft Dynamics, or other ERP systems
Qualifications
  • Experience in AP/Payroll or relevant area
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
