Job Summary

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a skilled Aircraft Support Mechanic to join our team. As an Aircraft Support Mechanic, you will be responsible for providing work scopes and coordinating repairs with OEMs and/or third-party repair suppliers for expendable, recoverable, rotable, and key repairable components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop work scope packages that meet all compliance and configuration requirements on identified components.
  • Conduct receiving inspections on repaired/overhauled components from repair suppliers and make components serviceable prior to returning to stock.
  • Coordinate activities for parts sent to outside repair agencies, including new repairs and non-stock items, resolving problems, and coordinating changes to existing repair purchase orders.
  • Implement improvement projects such as HPW, LEAN, Six Sigma, and 5S.
  • Support business unit strategies while assisting in the development and implementation of MRO insourcing and repair suppliers' contracts.
  • Monitor business goals and objectives in supporting Tech Ops strategies.
Requirements

This role requires a strong understanding of aviation maintenance and repair principles, as well as excellent communication and coordination skills. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively with engineers, supervisors, lead AMTS, AMTs, planners, CDMG, CCC personnel, and third-party repair suppliers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and be able to prioritize tasks effectively.
