Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Memory Disorder Specialist to join our team at the University of Kansas Medical Center. As a key member of our Neurology department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the advancement of medical knowledge in the field of neurology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Clinical Care: Function as a staff physician in our Neurology clinics, hospital rounds, and teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • Teaching and Education: Supervise neurology residents and fellows, and teach medical students in clinic and provide occasional lectures.
  • Research and Development: Option to pursue scholarly activity in the areas of memory disorders.
  • Administrative Duties: Other duties as assigned by the department.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: MD, DO, or foreign degree equivalent to an MD, Neurology residency training required, and eligibility for Kansas medical license.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Good written and oral communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
