We are seeking a highly skilled Memory Disorder Specialist to join our team at the University of Kansas Medical Center. As a key member of our Neurology department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the advancement of medical knowledge in the field of memory disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Clinical Care: Function as a staff physician in our memory disorder neurology clinics, hospital rounds, and other clinical settings.
- Teaching and Education: Supervise neurology residents and fellows, teach medical students in clinic, and provide occasional lectures.
- Research and Scholarship: Pursue scholarly activity in the areas of memory disorders, with opportunities to collaborate with our research team.
- Administrative Duties: Participate in departmental meetings, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
- Education and Licensure: MD, DO, or foreign degree equivalent to an MD, with neurology residency training required.
- Skills and Qualifications: Good written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
