Job Title: Advanced Practice Provider - APP

We are seeking a skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our team at DispatchHealth Management. As an APP, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in the comfort of patients' homes.

About the Role:

As a member of our clinical care team, you will work collaboratively with DispatchHealth Medical Technicians (DHMTs) to provide comprehensive health assessments, diagnose and treat complex illnesses, and administer advanced medical care. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care in the home setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive health assessments and diagnose and treat complex illnesses
  • Administer advanced medical care, including splinting, suturing, wound care, and minor procedures
  • Use critical thinking skills and follow evidence-based standards of practice
  • Accurately and thoroughly document patient encounters and ensure accuracy
  • Analyze test data to diagnose, treat, and arrange follow-up care
  • Educate patients and families on health management and wellness
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Identify and proactively solve problems
  • Adhere to clinical and safety standards, protocols, and performance metrics
  • Provide care with compassion, empathy, and cultural competency
Requirements:
  • Minimum of two years of experience as an APP in Emergency Department, Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, or relevant areas
  • Graduate with an advanced degree from an accredited institution
  • Current unrestricted state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Nationally board certified, current
  • Current BLS required, ACLS certification preferred
  • Prescriptive authority and DEA
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
