Join Our Team as an Advanced Practice Provider

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at DispatchHealth Management. As a key member of our clinical care team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients and their families.

About the Role

As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will work closely with our DispatchHealth Medical Technicians (DHMTs) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the comfort of our patients' homes. Your expertise will be invaluable in assessing, diagnosing, and treating complex illnesses, as well as providing therapeutic interventions and education to patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive health assessments and diagnose and treat complex illnesses
  • Provide therapeutic interventions, such as splinting, suturing, wound care, and minor procedures
  • Use critical thinking skills and follow evidence-based standards of practice
  • Analyze test data to diagnose, treat, and arrange appropriate follow-up for patients
  • Educate patients and families on how to manage their health and well-being
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Identify and proactively solve problems
  • Adhere to clinical and safety standards, protocols, and performance metrics
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum of two years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in Emergency Department, Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, or other relevant areas
  • Graduate with an advanced degree from an accredited institution
  • Current unrestricted state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Nationally board certified, current
  • Current BLS required, ACLS certification preferred
  • Prescriptive authority and DEA
  • Valid drivers license with clean driving record
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to walk up and down several flights of stairs easily
