Position Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated Property Management Assistant to join our team at Samazon Staffing.

This role involves supporting the Community Manager in the effective oversight and management of the community's financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing the financial duties of the community, including accounting and bookkeeping tasks.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and handle the processing of invoices for payments.
  • Collect rent, fees, and other payments, ensuring accurate bank deposits and account reconciliations.
  • Utilize property management software to track and report on all financial activities.
  • Act as the on-site supervisor in the absence of the Community Manager, organizing daily tasks and coordinating maintenance operations.
  • Post rent and applicable fees using property management software.
  • Conduct reviews and audits of resident files to ensure compliance.
  • Communicate with residents regarding outstanding balances and enforce collection procedures for delinquent accounts.
  • Review and submit invoices from vendors and service providers.
  • Follow established procedures related to evictions and represent the community in necessary legal proceedings.
  • Process resident move-outs in accordance with legal requirements and company policies.
  • Enhance resident satisfaction and retention by addressing complaints and requests promptly.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in residential property management as a Leasing Agent or Assistant Manager.
  • Familiarity with property management software is preferred.
