Position Overview:
The Senior Manager of eCommerce Merchandising is accountable for overseeing the online product management process from initial setup to customer delivery. This role is pivotal in shaping promotional strategies and marketing initiatives aimed at enhancing revenue streams. The position will spearhead growth initiatives pertinent to the digital merchandise sector across the organization.
In collaboration with the experience team, the manager will drive revenue across multiple categories, ensuring optimal presentation to boost conversion rates.
This role includes leading a team of associates to meet digital performance targets while embodying the core values of respect, integrity, diversity, and safety.Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the Product, Pricing, Promotions, Placement, and Marketing strategies for various categories displayed on digital platforms.
2. Develop innovative online merchandising strategies to enhance category sales and profitability in conjunction with the Merchandising team.
3. Formulate assortment strategies for assigned categories to meet online sales and profitability objectives across all digital channels.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to establish business goals specific to Omnichannel strategies.
5. Utilize data-driven insights to anticipate trends and apply this knowledge to enhance conversion rates.
6. Work alongside marketing teams to implement marketing strategies and create Omnichannel campaigns that increase awareness and drive conversions.
7. Lead promotional strategies for assigned categories to unlock key campaigns that enhance traffic, conversion, and average order value.
8. Partner with merchant teams to ensure successful product launches with appropriate marketing and web activities.
9. Facilitate strategic discussions regarding category positioning and present products effectively within the online platform to drive traffic and conversion while simplifying the customer experience.
10. Manage the digital shelf lifecycle for assigned categories, including strategy development, item setup, sell-down strategies, and item rationalization.
11. Mentor and supervise direct reports, conducting performance evaluations and providing constructive feedback.
12. Travel may be required up to 25% of the time.
13. This position requires the ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Merchandising, Management, or a related field.
- Over 10 years of experience in merchandising.
- Proven ability to attract, inspire, and retain top talent while clearly communicating vision and objectives.
- Demonstrated capability to balance strategic leadership with detailed operational management.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proven track record of resolving challenges effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including formal presentation capabilities.
