Job Title: Field Service Technician

The Field Service Technician plays a vital role in implementing projects at customer sites. Working in partnership with manufacturers and the project manager, they will participate in the technical study of the equipment on site, identify solutions to problems, and validate local requirements and compliances.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Start-up and Maintenance: Manage equipment start-up, resolve issues to meet performance commitments, handle production follow-up, and problem resolution.
  • Spare Parts Service: Coordinate and adapt the product for the North America market with the product manager, provide support for equipment homologation with the relevant authorities, select upstream part components for manufacturing equipment, and manage spare parts requests.
  • Warehouse: Prepare packages for shipment, unpack items sent to the warehouse by manufacturers and suppliers, store various warehouse items in their designated areas, and receive products returned by customers.
Desired Profile and Skills:
  • Degree or technical certification
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Significant experience in electromechanics and pneumatics
  • Basic principle of automation
  • Proven Field Service experience
  • Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and maintain technical equipment
  • Proficiency in Autocad, Solidworks, or other technical drawing software
  • Experience in the food industry (a plus)
  • Ability to work independently and take measured initiative
  • Ability to support a remote team
