Crusoe Cloud is a managed cloud services platform that leverages stranded energy to foster climate-friendly advancements in fields like artificial intelligence, graphics rendering, and computational biology.
Role Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Senior/Staff Solutions Engineer to collaborate closely with our key clients as they develop their operations on Crusoe Cloud. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that clients implement the most secure, scalable, and cost-effective solutions while optimizing deployment expenses. This position will enable you to cultivate strong relationships with our clients and establish yourself as a trusted advisor and expert in cloud-based solution deployment. In addition to direct client engagement, you will also have the opportunity to showcase these solutions through technical demonstrations, written content, and client success stories.
Daily Activities:
- Interact directly with clients to provide technical guidance as they develop their products in the cloud.
- Assist clients in outlining their initial proof of concept (PoC) and evaluating Crusoe Cloud, supporting them in scaling their workloads from PoC to full deployment.
- Lead client-facing demonstrations, discussions, and events to promote product education and advocacy.
- Advocate for client needs, representing their requirements to the product and engineering teams to influence our product development roadmap.
- Collaborate with various teams at Crusoe to create content that aids clients in developing and deploying their applications on Crusoe Cloud.
- Design and implement sales strategies and demand generation initiatives targeting a diverse range of clients.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Technical degree in computer science, mathematics, or engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Over 5 years of experience in architecting, building, or managing cloud-based applications or infrastructures.
- In-depth knowledge and experience in developing machine learning (ML), high-performance computing (HPC), or graphics applications within cloud environments.
- Experience with modern infrastructure tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Cloud Formation, and Terraform.
- Professional cloud certification (AWS, Azure, or GCP Solutions Architect) is preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check.

Compensation Details:
The compensation range for this position is $175,000 - $225,000, including Restricted Stock Units. The final compensation will be determined based on the applicant's expertise, education, and skills, as well as internal equity and market alignment.
