Job Overview:
As a Senior Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in leading cross-functional aerospace engineering initiatives. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the schedule, budget, performance, and processes necessary for the successful execution of complex engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of project timelines, costs, and performance metrics to ensure project success.
- Manage the design and integration of intricate assemblies.
- Facilitate integrated product team meetings with essential stakeholders.
- Participate in product design reviews and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.
- Serve as the primary customer liaison, maintaining strong communication with external clients.
- Keep an ongoing action item tracker and ensure accountability among stakeholders for timely completion.
- Generate and present regular project status reports to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify potential risks related to project scope, budget, and schedule, and implement strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and update customer systems with the latest information.
- Engage in ad-hoc engineering initiatives, including failure investigations and engineering changes.
- Leverage your engineering expertise to facilitate informed discussions across various engineering teams.
- Conduct in-person visits to clients as necessary to advance project objectives.
- Escalate any project barriers or risks as required.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
- Adhere to all compliance and regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in project engineering.
- Proven experience as a senior project engineer or IPT lead.
- Familiarity with Teamcenter or similar PLM software.
- Strong proactive approach to achieving results.
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
- Exceptional customer service abilities.
- PMP Certification is preferred.
- Experience managing projects through the engineering design process.
- Understanding of engineering outsourcing practices.
- Knowledge of inspection procedures and common hardware repair techniques.
- Experience in project or program management.
- Proficiency in creating standard work and documenting lessons learned.
- Familiarity with Adobe Framemaker.
