Role Overview:


In this role, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of cost-effective and impactful capital improvement initiatives that align with business growth, operational stability, environmental health and safety (EHS), and production quality objectives.

Your expertise will be crucial in designing and analyzing experiments within a manufacturing context, leveraging strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders and enhance project outcomes through strategic process adjustments and design enhancements.


Essential Qualifications:
Proficiency in AUTOCAD and MS Project, along with advanced Excel skills for computational analysis of piping and unit operations.

Demonstrated ability to manage projects aimed at enhancing the manufacturing environment, requiring operational commitment for funding, training, and establishing clear expectations for system usage.

Familiarity with safety system design, OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) elements, and hazard analysis methodologies.
Exceptional analytical and mathematical capabilities.
Experience in continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to influence change in existing practices.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Proven problem identification, assessment, and resolution skills.
Knowledge of process engineering software systems.
Understanding of relevant health and safety regulations.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.


Education and Experience:
A bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from an accredited institution is required. Professional Engineering Licensure is preferred. A minimum of five to ten years of experience in chemical manufacturing, with direct relevance to the specified duties and responsibilities.

Travel Requirements:
This position may require occasional travel of up to 10% to domestic equipment suppliers and third-party system integrators.
