Job OpportunityAre you a dedicated and compassionate nurse looking to take on a leadership role in a dynamic and supportive environment? We are seeking an experienced Nurse Leader to join our team at a prestigious healthcare facility in Queensbury, NY.Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Director of Nursing Services to lead the nursing team and ensure exceptional care for residents.
  • Lead weekly wound/skin rounds and play a pivotal role in the healing and well-being of our residents.
  • Communicate effectively with the nursing team, ensuring compliance with best practices and maintaining a high standard of care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each resident.
  • Provide guidance and support to the nursing team, ensuring a seamless delivery of care 24/7.
  • Direct and coordinate nursing services, optimizing workflows and elevating the standard of care.
  • Assist in hiring, mentoring, and orienting new nursing staff, building a team that is passionate about delivering exceptional care.
  • Champion health and safety with rigorous infection control protocols.
Requirements
  • Licensed RN with a current license in the state.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Long-Term Care settings, bringing valuable expertise to the table.
  • 2+ years of management experience, with a proven track record of leadership and inspiration.
  • Experience in staff education is a plus, demonstrating a commitment to the growth and development of the team.
  • Excellent communication skills, essential for building a cohesive and informed team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet the evolving needs of the facility.
