Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Account Manager to lead our commercial lines team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated professional to develop strong relationships with clients and carriers, while driving business growth and success.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and market contacts. As a leader, you will be responsible for mentoring team members, developing cross-sell opportunities, and providing exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Build and maintain key client and carrier relationships through proactive communication and strategic relationship management.
  2. Assist clients and staff with service-related inquiries, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
  3. Identify and pursue cross-sell opportunities, suggesting new lines of coverage to enhance client portfolios.
  4. Work closely with producers and marketing account executives to monitor and manage renewal processes, presenting options to clients and negotiating renewals.
  5. Lead the marketing of accounts, preparing presentations and delivering supporting documentation to secure business.
  6. Implement policy changes, prepare and deliver necessary forms, and coordinate client meetings.
  7. Develop and execute relationship management plans, collaborating with producers to schedule regular check-ins with clients.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry developments, attending seminars and carrier meetings to enhance knowledge and expertise.
  9. Mentor team members, promoting productivity and teamwork within the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and relevant training.
  • At least five years of experience in the insurance industry, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Property & Casualty insurance license.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and carriers.
  • Leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor team members.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel, occasionally overnight.

What We Offer

A competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for career growth and development in a dynamic and supportive environment.
