The anticipated salary range for this position is approximately $65,000 - $72,000 annually, based on experience. The standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.
Position Overview:
The R&D Lab Technician will play a crucial role in conducting laboratory-scale experiments to support the development of both oral and injectable formulations. Responsibilities include overseeing laboratory inventory management, coordinating stability testing schedules, and ensuring timely submission of samples to the analytical lab.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical manufacturing field as a Lab Technician, Chemist, or Scientist is required.
- Experience in formulation research and development or the compounding of liquid dosage forms is essential.
- Candidates must reside in the local area.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory; a college degree is preferred.
- Attention to detail and strong mathematical skills are necessary.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities are required.
- Familiarity with cGMP regulations is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) is expected.
- Authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct laboratory-scale experiments for the development of oral and injectable formulations under supervision.
- Prepare documentation for batch and study execution as directed.
- Manage the inventory of raw materials, components, chemicals, and reagents, including ordering and shipping as necessary.
- Oversee the stability program by scheduling stability pulls and submitting samples for analytical testing.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain accurate documentation.
