Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate laboratory equipment safely and with minimal supervision to support project needs
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to guidelines for good housekeeping and safety
  • Conduct searches on prior art, summarize outcomes in reports, and present project status updates
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer innovation, marketing, and manufacturing
  • Perform laboratory experiments, analyze data, and interpret results to inform project decisions
  • Record data in the Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) and other archiving databases
Requirements:
  • Progress towards a Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Biochemistry, or related field with laboratory research experience
  • Ability to work safely in a laboratory environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written technical communication skills
  • Working knowledge of basic computer software applications, such as MS Office
  • Reliable transportation to and from the facility each work day
