Exciting Opportunity for a Research Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious student to join our R&D team for summer 2025 as a Global Applications, Snacks, and Bakery Intern. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a well-defined research project that connects consumer insights and unmet customer needs to developing ingredient technology for snacks and bakery products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the progression of a research project by operating laboratory equipment safely and with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to guidelines for good housekeeping and safety.
  • Conduct searches on prior art, summarize outcomes, and present project status updates to the team and key partners.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, project teams, and key partners to achieve project goals.
  • Perform laboratory experiments, analyze data, and interpret results to make recommendations to the project team.
  • Record data in the Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) and other archiving databases as appropriate.
Requirements:
  • Progress towards a Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Biochemistry, or a related field with laboratory research experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written technical communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of basic computer software applications, such as MS Office.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the facility each work day.
