- Accurately log and categorize service requests, focusing on clinical applications such as EMR and Practice Management systems.
- Provide specialized troubleshooting support for clinical software, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare staff to maximize the effectiveness of IT tools and applications.
- Resolve desktop-related issues for Windows-based systems efficiently.
- Independently troubleshoot technical problems and escalate complex issues to the appropriate IT personnel.
- Conduct follow-ups with end-users to confirm issue resolution and provide updates on outstanding requests.
- Assist users in navigating and resolving technical challenges, particularly in clinical application workflows.
- Offer proactive guidance to healthcare staff to enhance their use of technology.
- Collaborate with IT colleagues to identify and implement process improvements, especially regarding healthcare applications.
- Gather and communicate feedback from healthcare professionals to enhance the IT support experience.
- Adhere to HIPAA, OSHA, and Bloodborne Pathogen regulations, maintaining compliance with workplace training requirements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Help Desk environment is highly preferred.
- Proficient in troubleshooting Windows operating systems.
- Experience with MS Office support.
- Knowledge of networking and printer support, both local and networked.
- Familiarity with VoIP phone systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on customer service.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- This role may require participation in an on-call rotation.
