About the Role

The Collier Companies is seeking an experienced Regional Property Manager to oversee the operations and performance of our apartment community portfolio. This is an on-site role, reporting out of our Florida Home Office in Gainesville, which offers a unique blend of natural beauty, a temperate climate, and a thriving community.

As a Regional Property Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the overall operations and performance of our selected real estate apartment community portfolio. This includes monitoring property performance, controlling expenses, supervising managers, staffing and team building, interacting with owners, managing the due diligence process, managing new construction lease ups, capital improvement projects, preparing and reviewing monthly variance and forecast reports, and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor property performance and control expenses
  • Supervise managers and staff, and build a high-performing team
  • Interact with owners and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication
  • Manage the due diligence process and ensure timely completion
  • Develop and implement effective marketing and leasing strategies
  • Prepare and review monthly variance and forecast reports
  • Maintain customer satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Regional Property Manager
  • Ability to travel throughout multiple states
  • Lease up experience required
  • Multi-family apartment experience strongly preferred
  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to lead and mentor team members
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to lead, mentor, and develop Property Managers for next-level advancement
  • Proven track record of revenue generation combined with occupancy growth
  • Strong understanding of financial planning and ability to summarize and communicate results effectively
  • Strong verbal, written, computer, and analytical skills
