Job Summary

As an Accounting Manager at the University of Florida, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of property records and accounting transactions. You will be responsible for reviewing and approving disposition requests, managing acquisitions and equipment transactions, and overseeing property records for federal, state, and private corporate contracts and grants. Additionally, you will provide leadership and guidance to direct reports, including performance management, training, and professional development. Key Responsibilities

* Reviews and approves disposition requests to ensure compliance with University Directives and Procedures
* Manages acquisitions, equipment, and lease transactions to ensure accurate property records and accounting transactions
* Oversees property records for federal, state, and private corporate contracts and grants
* Provides leadership and guidance to direct reports, including performance management, training, and professional development

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and six years of relevant experience
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Ability to work and maintain effective working relationships with others
