Description

The Collier Companies is seeking a highly skilled Regional Leasing Specialist to join our team in Gainesville, FL. As a key member of our sales and leasing team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets in our Florida market.

This is an on-site role, reporting directly to our Florida Home Office, which offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will be part of a talented team that is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business results.

As a Regional Leasing Specialist, you will be responsible for all sales and leasing activities, including lead generation, property tours, and lease signings. You will work closely with our leasing and sales teams to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all sales and leasing activities to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Stay informed about current market and competitor conditions to make recommendations on marketing opportunities.
  • Follow established policies related to concessions, specials, and other programs to boost occupancy.
  • Execute marketing activities to create and drive traffic to the community, including resident referral and employer outreach programs.
  • Support the onsite teams through TCC resources to ensure leasing velocity is maintained and marketing strategies and leasing practices are in compliance with TCC standards.
  • Respond quickly and courteously to resident concerns and questions and take prompt action to solve problems and/or document and convey resident or other requests to the appropriate individual(s).

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • College-level education preferred.
  • Two years of full-time, successful apartment leasing or sales experience. Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Must have a valid in-state Driver's License and reliable transportation.
  • Exceptional Customer Service Experience.
  • Leadership, organization, and management abilities to foster team building in a collaborative atmosphere with direction to establish sustainable change in a positive direction.
  • Ability to work independently with or without direction.
  • Social media savvy.
  • Working knowledge of Landlord/Tenant Law and Fair Housing.
  • Reading, writing, seeing, and/or communication and mathematical skills.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Ability to travel out of town for extensive/indefinite periods. Travel may be in the range of 75% or more.
  • Skill to convince prospective residents of the advantages of living in a community by sales closing methods.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and be organized.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends and some holidays as required and at different locations.
  • Skills to effectively train other associates through a variety of means.
