Job Description

Domestic Violence Services (DVS) is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Community Coordinator to function as a Domestic Violence Housing Specialist. This role will play a critical part in providing affordable housing solutions for survivors of domestic violence and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with brokers, landlords, and other service providers to ensure seamless housing program initiatives.
  • Meet with outreach partners, DV service providers, and clients to provide technical support and update them on housing program information.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to identify eligible clients and maintain relationships with the HRA DVS Eligibility Services unit.
Requirements
  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community-centered activities.
  • High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community-centered activities.
