Role Summary

The Azure Air Gap and Sovereign Cloud team is on the lookout for a Security Assurance Technical Program Manager to spearhead the development of a secure cloud architecture aimed at enhancing margins, quality, and innovation for government clients. This role involves close collaboration with software engineering teams, operational units, and Azure leadership to delve into technical specifics and align stakeholders in architecting new cloud solutions. This position presents a unique opportunity to deepen your understanding of Azure, Microsoft services, and technical methodologies to refine and advance the cloud deployment and operational strategies for Azure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive complex engagements that encompass various dimensions, including technical, financial, compliance, regulatory, and legal aspects.
  • Engage in product management activities such as designing product architecture and solutions for intricate technical requirements.
  • Identify trends in product quality and performance to define or modify existing features, while prioritizing and delivering on the roadmap.
  • Monitor product/service performance and promote continuous improvement in quality, profitability, supportability, and delivery.
  • Act as a technical advisor to customers, promoting products, gathering feedback, and supporting field sales teams as necessary.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in the software development lifecycle, large-scale computing, modeling, cybersecurity, or anomaly detection, or a Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in cyber analytics.

Other Requirements:

  • Active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance is mandatory.
  • Verification of U.S. citizenship due to legal restrictions related to government agency support.

Preferred:

  • 6+ years of experience in engineering, product management, or technical program management, particularly in mission-focused government and industry environments.
  • Ability to leverage telemetry and diagnostics for operational insights.
  • Strong communication skills and situational awareness for collaboration with diverse teams.
  • Proven experience in engineering roles delivering cloud services and engaging engineering teams to express and drive new feature requirements.

Compensation

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year, with variations based on specific work locations.
