Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

7 years of experience in quota-carrying cloud or software sales, or account management within a B2B software organization.

Proven track record in prospecting and establishing customer relationships from the ground up.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience collaborating with Customer Engineers and technical leads to assess existing software environments, outline migration strategies, and create business cases for transitions.

Proficiency in navigating complex commercial and legal negotiations, engaging with Procurement, Legal, and Business teams in large enterprises.

Background in advocating for cloud solutions, infrastructure software, databases, analytical tools, or application software across various sectors.

Experience in acquiring new clients at scale and securing foundational workloads to boost consumption business.

Ability to cultivate and sustain C-level relationships to forge strong partnerships.

A passion for developing Greenfield territories within enterprise accounts.

As an Enterprise Account Executive focused on new customer acquisition for enterprise accounts, your main objective will be to enhance Google Cloud's market presence by securing new clients and establishing foundational workloads to drive their consumption business. You will engage with a diverse array of cross-industry enterprise clients, assisting them in addressing their business challenges with our solutions. Your success will depend on your ability to pinpoint specific business issues while collaborating with stakeholders across your accounts and partnering with your extended team to devise technical solutions.

Your responsibilities will include building significant relationships across various levels within the client organization, from developers to C-suite executives. Additionally, you will lead a cross-functional team and utilize the appropriate resources, including Customer Engineering, Business Development, cross-functional sellers, and Partners, to optimize outcomes.

Responsibilities

1. Spearhead prospecting and acquisition of new clients, establishing and nurturing customer relationships from inception, and positioning yourself as a trusted advisor on their long-term technology and business strategies.

2. Attain expertise in the client's business, including their SaaS product offerings, technology strategies, growth objectives, business drivers, financial frameworks, customer demographics, vertical market propositions, and competitive landscape.

3. Formulate account strategies to identify business growth opportunities, collaborating cross-functionally with multiple teams and Google Partners to maximize business impact within enterprise clients.

4. Manage intricate business cycles, presenting to C-level executives and negotiating terms effectively.

5. Drive business development, maintain operational excellence at scale, forecast accurately, and achieve objectives by guiding clients through the entire business cycle.
