Fabrication Coordinator Job Description

At DXP Enterprises, we are seeking a skilled Fabrication Coordinator to join our team in Katy, TX. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our fabrication and service operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and dispatch shop field service technicians to ensure timely completion of service jobs.
  • Assign duties to service technicians and monitor their progress to ensure compliance with company standards and customer specifications.
  • Prepare quotes for service jobs and enter sales orders to facilitate efficient processing.
  • Order parts and assign labor to service jobs to ensure timely completion.
  • Invoice service jobs and maintain accurate records to ensure seamless financial processing.
  • Collaborate with the Shop Manager to evaluate service technicians and identify areas for improvement.
  • Inspect service jobs to verify conformance with company standards and customer specifications.
Requirements:
  • Experience in pump service and fabrication, with a proven track record of success.
  • Employee management experience, with the ability to motivate teams and drive results.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Pump experience and computer skills, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
