About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fabrication Coordinator to join our team at DXP Enterprises. As a Fabrication Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our industrial customers by coordinating the fabrication of MROP products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and Dispatch Shop Field Service Technicians: Coordinate the scheduling and dispatch of shop field service technicians to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Assign Duties to Service Technicians: Assign duties and tasks to service technicians to ensure that all service jobs are completed to the highest standard.
  • Prepare Quotes on Service Jobs: Prepare quotes and estimates for service jobs to ensure that customers are aware of the costs and scope of work involved.
  • Enter Sales Orders for Service Jobs: Enter sales orders for service jobs into our system to ensure accurate tracking and billing.
  • Order Parts for Service Jobs: Order parts and materials required for service jobs to ensure that technicians have everything they need to complete the job.
  • Assign Labor to Service Jobs: Assign labor and resources to service jobs to ensure that they are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Invoice Service Jobs: Invoice customers for service jobs completed to ensure timely payment and accurate billing.
  • Ensure Service Jobs are Progressing According to Schedule: Monitor and track the progress of service jobs to ensure that they are completed on time and to the highest standard.
  • Assist Shop Manager on the Evaluation of Service Technicians: Assist the Shop Manager in evaluating the performance of service technicians to ensure that they are meeting the required standards.
  • Inspect Service Jobs to Verify Conformance with Company Standards and/or Customer Specifications: Inspect service jobs to ensure that they meet the required standards and customer specifications.
  • Ensure Service Technicians Perform Duties According to Company Safety Policy: Ensure that service technicians are performing their duties in accordance with our company safety policy.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Experience in Pump Service and Fabrication: A minimum of 2 years' experience in pump service and fabrication is required.
  • Employee Management Experience: Experience in managing and supervising a team of service technicians is essential.
  • Ability to Motivate Team and Accomplish Goals: The ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve their goals and objectives is critical to success in this role.
