About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fabrication Coordinator to join our team at DXP Enterprises. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of our fabrication services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and Dispatch Shop Field Service Technicians: Coordinate the deployment of our skilled technicians to ensure timely completion of fabrication projects.
  • Assign Duties to Service Technicians: Effectively allocate tasks to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Prepare Quotes on Service Jobs: Develop accurate and competitive quotes for clients, highlighting the value of our fabrication services.
  • Enter Sales Orders for Service Jobs: Process sales orders for fabrication projects, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Order Parts for Service Jobs: Procure necessary materials and components to support fabrication projects.
  • Assign Labor to Service Jobs: Allocate labor resources to meet project demands and ensure timely completion.
  • Invoice Service Jobs: Process invoices for completed fabrication projects, ensuring accurate billing and payment.
  • Ensure Service Jobs Progress According to Schedule: Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing any issues to ensure timely completion.
  • Assist Shop Manager on Evaluation of Service Technicians: Collaborate with the Shop Manager to evaluate technician performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Inspect Service Jobs to Verify Conformance with Company Standards and/or Customer Specifications: Conduct quality control checks to ensure fabrication projects meet company standards and customer requirements.
  • Ensure Service Technicians Perform Duties According to Company Safety Policy: Promote a culture of safety within the team, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Experience in Pump Service and Fabrication: Proven track record of success in fabrication and pump service, with a strong understanding of industrial processes.
  • Employee Management Experience: Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate teams, driving productivity and efficiency.
  • Ability to Motivate Team and Accomplish Goals: Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results.
