Job Summary:

This is an entry-level internship role within the Professional Services division at NISC. The successful candidate will work closely with our Financials solution team, providing exceptional customer support and contributing to the implementation process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide superior customer support to internal and external customers, ensuring timely and effective resolution of inquiries and issues.
  • Assist in the implementation of our Financials solution, working closely with customers to understand their needs and requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Professional Services team to develop and maintain system documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Contribute to the development of process improvements and best practices within the Professional Services division.
  • Participate in testing and quality assurance activities to ensure the highest level of quality in our solutions.
  • Assist in the review and development of system and training documentation, ensuring clarity and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of project management processes and theory.
  • Basic knowledge of service level management (SLM) best practices.
  • Basic knowledge of the utility or telecom industry.
  • Familiarity with other integrated applications and services.
  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation and training skills.
  • Strong PC skills.
  • Ability to effectively lead, influence, and teach others.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to interact in a positive manner with internal and external contacts.
  • Commitment to NISC's Statement of Shared Values.

Education and Certification:

  • High school diploma or equivalency required.
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
