Position Overview
Bravera Bank is seeking a dedicated Retail Banking Support Associate. Our organization is rooted in employee and director ownership, fostering an environment where team members can advance their careers.
Role Purpose
The primary objective of this role is to assist the Retail Banking Department by executing a range of responsibilities. These responsibilities encompass report compilation and monitoring, policy and procedure maintenance, and serving as a designated representative for Jack Henry SilverLake.
Key Performance Indicators
- Mastery of Retail Support and Relationship Banker Processes and Procedures
- Providing support to Retail Staff through various communication channels.
Core Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients, whether in person or over the phone.
- Execute specific Retail Support tasks as assigned and assist with special projects as required.
- Conduct system maintenance and verify maintenance performed by colleagues.
- Confirm wire transfers before submission to the Operations Department.
- Implement Reg. CC holds and process stop hold requests as necessary.
- Address inquiries from other bank departments in accordance with the Relationship Banker Manual.
- Adhere to current bank policies and procedures relevant to the Retail Department.
- Provide backup support for the Retail Support Supervisor.
- Actively promote the organization within the community by participating in civic and community events, activities, and committees.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism regarding all employee and customer matters.
- Contribute to the overall success of the organization by adhering to all banking regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act.
Proactive Measures
In this role, you will be vigilant in identifying and preventing illegal activities, including fraud and money laundering, and will report any suspicious activities to the BSA Officer.
Qualifications
Education:
An Associate Degree is required; a Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
2-4 years of banking experience or prior administrative experience, or a combination of education and work experience.
Skills/Certifications:
Exceptional Customer Service skills are essential.
