National Information Solutions Cooperative (NISC) is a leading provider of software solutions for the utility and telecom industries. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Implementation Specialist to join our Professional Services team.

Job Summary:

The Implementation Specialist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer support and ensuring the successful implementation of our Financial Solutions software. This role will involve working closely with customers, internal teams, and product development staff to gather requirements, configure the software, and provide training and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide superior customer support to internal and external customers, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
  • Collaborate with customers to gather requirements and configure the Financial Solutions software to meet their needs.
  • Develop and deliver training and documentation to customers on the use and configuration of the Financial Solutions software.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including product development and technical support, to ensure seamless implementation and support of the Financial Solutions software.
  • Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance of the Financial Solutions software to ensure it meets customer requirements.
  • Assist in the development of business cases and proposals to support the sale of our Financial Solutions software.
  • Participate in sales calls and presentations to demonstrate the value and benefits of our Financial Solutions software.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and provide recommendations for product enhancements and new features.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, such as finance, accounting, or business administration.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as financial implementation, customer support, or software implementation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, internal teams, and product development staff.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather requirements and configure software to meet customer needs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Strong knowledge of financial software and systems, including accounting and financial management.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a business-related field, such as finance, accounting, or business administration.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a related field, such as financial implementation, customer support, or software implementation.
  • Certification in a related field, such as Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
