Job Overview:
The Product Lifecycle Management Specialist will be responsible for the analysis, design, implementation, and support of our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, with a particular focus on Centric PLM. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Master Data, and IT, to ensure the PLM system meets business requirements and supports efficient product development processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the Centric PLM system, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with business needs.
- Conduct data analysis to support product development decisions and drive improvements in PLM processes.
- Work with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for PLM system enhancements.
- Design and implement system configurations and customizations to meet business requirements.
- Oversee the development and deployment of Centric PLM solutions.
- Participate in system testing and quality assurance to ensure robust system performance.
- Provide support to PLM users, troubleshoot issues, and conduct training sessions to ensure effective use.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including system configurations, process workflows, and user manuals.
- Lead and participate in PLM-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, IT, and supply chain, to ensure seamless integration of PLM processes and systems.
- Proficiency in Centric PLM software, data analysis tools, and SQL.
- Experience with system integration and data migration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Demonstrated experience in managing projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality in all aspects of work.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain, Operations, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a systems analyst role, with a focus on PLM systems.
- Experience in consumer product development processes and lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Knowledge of industry best practices in PLM and product development.
- Data Analytics Certification
