Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply your technical expertise to design, build, and maintain industrial electrical equipment, including electronic, motor, pneumatic, conveyor systems, vision systems, production equipment, and plant support machines.
  • Utilize advanced tools, such as Oscilloscopes, Digital Voltmeters, Signal Generators, and Signal Analyzers to test and calibrate equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Perform a range of tasks, including PCB prototyping, electronics testing, surface mount connector soldering, PLC/HMI Panel building, programming, and networking (PLC's, HMI's, and vision systems).
  • Troubleshoot electrical panels and components, repair or replace defective parts, make adjustments, or install special function and structural parts.
  • Continuously develop your knowledge and skills, such as working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs, as well as a wide variety of training & on-the-job experiences.

Requirements:

  • An Associate Degree, equivalent education from an electronics program, Military training, or combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience building and wiring industrial electrical panels, as well as testing, troubleshooting, and making repairs.
  • Soldering skills.
  • Functional skills using tools, such as oscilloscopes, digital voltmeters, signal generators, and signal analyzers to test and calibrate equipment.
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding electronic blueprints, schematics, drawing, operating and procedure manuals.
