Electrical Panel Specialist

As a key member of our Advanced Manufacturing Group at Plastipak Holdings, you will play a vital role in building and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment used in Direct Object Printing, an innovative eco-friendly printing technology.
Key Responsibilities:- Build and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment, including electronic, motor, pneumatic, conveyor systems, vision systems, production equipment, and plant support machines.
- Use tools such as Oscilloscopes, Digital Voltmeters, Signal Generators, and Signal Analyzers to test and calibrate equipment.
- Perform tasks including PCB prototyping, electronics testing, surface mount connector soldering, PLC/HMI Panel building, programming, and networking (PLC's, HMI's, and vision systems).
- Troubleshoot electrical panels and components, repair or replace defective parts, make adjustments, or install special function and structural parts.
- Grow your knowledge and skills, such as working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs as well as a wide variety of training & on-the-job experiences.
- An Associate Degree, equivalent education from an electronics program, Military training, or combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 3 years building and wiring industrial electrical panels as well as testing, troubleshooting, and making repairs.
- Soldering skills.
- Functional skills using tools such as oscilloscopes, digital voltmeters, signal generators, and signal analyzers to test and calibrate equipment.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding electronic blueprints, schematics, drawing, operating and procedure manual.
