Lead Software Engineer

The perfect candidate is a driven and seasoned Software Engineer who will focus on developing applications utilizing Microsoft C# with an emphasis on adaptable architecture. Our organization leverages Microsoft Azure as a foundational platform for resource management.
Key Responsibilities of a Senior Software Engineer – C#:
- Designing and building high-performance, mission-critical, real-time Windows desktop applications.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to architect and implement product features that are user-friendly, flexible, and resistant to errors; working closely with Clients, Software Development, Network Operations, and Customer Service teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Creating and maintaining user documentation to assist end users in daily application support.
- Providing unit tests for business processes to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Applying industry best practices to uphold source code security and integrity.
- Ensuring client confidentiality and prioritizing the client's interests.
- Working with the technology team to establish and refine clear coding standards.
- Engaging in the enhancement of CI/CD infrastructure for product accuracy and deployment.
- Exploring and integrating new technologies and methodologies to boost security, productivity, and maintainability.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Over 10 years of relevant software development experience.
- In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies and patterns in high-level programming languages.
- Experience with multi-tier architectures.
- Familiarity with Object/Relational Models (ORM) for database interactions.
- Experience in parallel programming and asynchronous design patterns.
- Capacity to learn and adapt swiftly.
- Understanding of financial data and standards within the financial industry.
- Preferred experience or knowledge in investments and securities trading.
Critical Technology Skill Sets for Success in this Role:
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented principles, particularly in .NET C#.
- Solid knowledge of Relational Databases, preferably Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience in desktop application development is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Git repository management is preferred.
