Position: Software Engineering Team Lead

Overview:
As a Software Engineering Team Lead at Gartner, you will be responsible for the design, execution, and maintenance of our internal service cloud, which is pivotal in supporting our research and consulting delivery strategies. You will collaborate closely with product stakeholders to grasp requirements and deliver scalable solutions while adhering to industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Engage in hands-on solution design, including proof-of-concepts, development, and testing tasks as necessary to support implementation efforts.
2. Work within a cross-functional SCRUM team to enhance our platform, applying Agile methodologies effectively.
3. Investigate and identify opportunities to implement best practices and guidelines aimed at improving system productivity, scalability, and monitoring.
4. Participate in code reviews, peer inspections, and contribute to technical design and specifications.
5. Utilize project objectives and system scope to ensure the design, construction, and testing of a robust system.
6. Communicate any issues or concerns to the project team, which includes development, project management, and quality assurance.

Work Schedule:
This position is structured for a standard workweek of 40 hours, Monday through Friday.

Minimum Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, along with five (5) years of progressive, relevant work experience in the offered position or a closely related role.

Required Experience:
- Proficiency in scripting languages and frameworks, including Salesforce, Apex, LWC Components, Aura, Java EE/Spring, JavaScript, CSS 3.0, HTML, Bootstrap, and React.
- Experience with integration and web services technologies, such as HTTP, SOAP, REST, XML, or JSON.
- Demonstrated ability in leading the design and deployment of large-scale solutions.
- Familiarity with Scrum software development methodology.
- Strong foundation in software development and object-oriented design principles for architecting software applications.
