Position Summary:
The primary objective of this role is to support Highmark Credit Union in fulfilling our Mission, "To educate and inspire our Highmark family so that all can achieve success." This is achieved by delivering exceptional service to both internal and external members.
This position entails a variety of member service and administrative tasks associated with new accounts, consumer loan processes, lien management, and additional products and services. Responsibilities include funding new loans, generating reports, tracking liens, and maintaining accurate records and files. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain comprehensive product knowledge.
- Consistently meet or surpass all service expectations.
- Prepare and process loan and member service documentation for both in-house and indirect products; input member information into auxiliary systems (data processing, plastic cards, IRA, etc.); review all necessary documentation for the closing of consumer loans in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Assemble new member packets for Indirect Loans; process loan-related transactions for account openings; fund loans; manage payment processing, etc.
- Assist in completing modification agreements and adjustments on consumer loans, along with other transactions as directed.
- Timely prepare and process assigned reports, such as paid loan reports, title tracking, and VINTek.
- Manage vehicle title processing, including filing lien perfection, title tracking, and resolving issues promptly; ensure follow-up on all pending lien perfection and maintain proper documentation of released titles.
- Process Force Placed Insurance (CPI) on members as required, posting charges and issuing refunds, while completing all CPI Reports.
- Handle processing of Gap and/or Warranty products issued on member accounts, post charges, and issue refunds, while completing all Gap and Warranty Reports.
- Maintain a log of members requesting claims on credit life and/or credit disability; gather necessary documentation from members regarding claims; collaborate with insurance companies to communicate with members; post claim payments to loans.
- Conduct general research regarding inquiries from employees and members; complete file maintenance and document actions as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED and 6 months of experience as a Title Clerk or Loan Clerk in a financial institution.
- Proficient PC skills with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Must pass required background check.
